REVIEW: Spells and Sleeping Bags by Sarah Mlynowski

Like all the other books in this series, this is for young adults, I should say around 13-16 years old. But I wanted to step back in time and enjoy something that I would have loved when I was younger. This is the third book in the series so I won't go into too much detail, I loved this book. The first one was obviously good the second one was ok, but this one was my favorite. When I was young I always wanted to go to camp, but I couldn't since I had just moved to America from Poland and didn't really speak English for a little while and my parents sure didn't so I couldn't go to camp. I watched movies about camp and fantasied about being there. But no, never happened. And then this book came along and I was back to being a young teenager.

This book starts off right after the second one finished, a couple weeks maybe. And that's what I liked about all these books. There aren't any gaps in between the books that have to be filled in. Although the author does backtrack a bit and tell us what happens in the previous books, which I thought was a bit unnecessary. But I could live with it. It is for kids after all, they have short attention spans. Lol.

Rachel of course doesn't know how to control her powers and gets herself in a big mess. Another enemy, and her bf gets stolen from her. Ugh, the life of a teenager. But I'll let you read it and decide for yourself.
