I didn't know what to expect of this book when I started reading it. I really didn't even know what it was about, I'm not sure I do now that I read it. But as much as I thought i would hate it in the beginning I grew to like it more and more towards the end. It's not a thriller and it doesn't keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat. But it slowly pulls you in, you find yourself caring about the characters, and wondering where life will take them, or why they are in the situation they are in. They go from stupid college students to smart grown people, and all you can do is smile. I wouldn't say this is anywhere close to being one of the best books I have read this year, and I'm not sure everyone would like it, I'm not sure why I like it. I usually prefer something with a kick, a good thriller, suspense, mystery, or just pure smutty romance. And this book falls somewhere between all of those. It's simply about life. I think it lacked a good climax, everything is on the same level of importance. The characters are well developed but not memorable. It's been only a couple weeks and I can't remember their names, or maybe it's just me and my memory sucks.
It's not a bad book, just not something I enjoy, and I would still recommend it to some people. But if you prefer a good page turner than this might not be for you.
